A special golf event to benefit families in need will be held this month in Horseshoe Bend. The Conner Strong Tournament is scheduled for August 21 with the shotgun start set for 8 a.m.
The entry fee for the three-person scramble is $120 per team, and cart rentals are an additional $20 plus tax. Flights will be determined by the number of entries.
