
Friday night’s storm activity brought a significant amount of rainfall to the Twin Lakes Area. There is also a small number of local power outages, but no storm damage has been reported.
Since 7 a.m. Friday, KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, has received 2.34 inches of rain. The current total for August is 2.48, and the total for 2021 is 35.35 inches.
As of 6:30 Saturday morning, North Arkansas Electric Cooperative was reporting two members served by the Mountain Home office and five served by the Salem office were without power. Entergy Arkansas reported 11 outages in Marion County, four in Boone County and one in Newton County.
