Four rezoning ordinances dominate the agenda for the Mountain Home City Council’s meeting Thursday evening at 6 at City Hall.

The first rezoning request would convert 503 Spring Street from Residential R-1 to Commercial C-2. A second rezoning request from the same property owner asks the city to grant a variance for 507 Spring Street to be used as a parking lot in an area zoned as R-1.

The third rezoning item on the City Council’s agenda considers converting a lot at the corner of Pebble Creek Road and the Sheid-Hopper Bypass from R-1 to C-2.

The fourth rezoning ordinance would change a lot at 128 College Street from R-1 to C-2.

Other items on Tuesday’s agenda include the presentation of an employment referral policy and consideration of an amendment to an agreement for professional services with Garver & Garver that was approved earlier this month.
