Mountain Home issues 16 business licenses in July

The City of Mountain Home issued 16 business licenses in July.

Those 16 licenses included six home-based businesses, two axe-throwing businesses and one restaurant.

The axe-throwing businesses receiving licenses are Sharp Edges Axe Throwing and Viking’s Edge LLC. Sharp Edges is located at 407 South Main Street #13 and is owned by MaryJo and Brad Haworth, Cathy and Gerald Leppold and Mary and Mike Peterson. Viking’s Edge is located at 1310 Eastside Center #9 and is owned by Bethany Johansen.

The restaurant business license was issued to Aker’s Holdings LLC for Jamie’s Restaurant #2, located at 1502 Highway 62 East.

Business licenses were also granted to

– Neil McInnis for McInnis Home Inspections LLC, located at 2199 Old Arkana Road;

– Richard and Diane Hungerford for Backyard Blossoms, located at 1559 Glenbriar Drive;

– Weyman Ronald Newton for Mid South Roof Systems, located in Forest Park, Georgia;

– Kathryn Michelle Harris for E-Protect Restoration LLC, located a 118 North College Street;

– the law firm Collins, Collins and Ray PA, located at 1035 Main Street Suite 9;

– Matthew Freeman for Square Foot Management, located at 701 South Street; and

– Jason and Deanna Davis for JD and Sons Complete Construction LLC, located at 8089 Pridemore Road.

The six home-based business licenses were granted to

– Ben Dacus for Dacus Construction Construction Company LLC;

– Lacey Lee Gallegos for Arkansas Medicaid Asset Protection and Qualification Services LLC;

– Joel Belcher for Joel’s Handyman Services;

– Justin Ulch and Jared Coan for Absolute Title and Home Improvement;

– Robert A. Carrillo for Service Aide; and

– Kaleb Johnson for The Duct Doctor.

Total licensing revenue for July was $10,761. That includes $9,200 in alcohol taxes and licenses; a total of $1,331 in occupation licenses; $120 in garage sale permits; $100 in police fees; and $10 in pet licenses.
