
The Mountain Home High School golf teams had their first road outing Monday at Harrison Country Club.
The Bombers won the boys’ side of the event with a total of 318, 10 strokes ahead of Harrison. Valley Springs finished third. Mountain Home’s Ripken Finley was the medalist with a 74 as he beat Reggie Grant of the Goblins by a stroke. Also for the Bombers, Will Beckham shot a 77, Chase Berwald had an 80, Isaac House ended up with an 85, Gauge Chaney shot an 87, Duncan Conly finished with an 88, and Chris Lindenmeyer came away with an 89. Hunter Reese was the top performer for Valley Springs with an 82.
On the girls’ side, Mountain Home was second with a total of 272 and ended up six stroke back of Harrison. Valley Springs was third at 286. Halle Marseilles represented the Lady Goblins as the medalist with an 84, and the Lady Bombers’ Ella Brashears was two strokes back to take second place. Also for Mountain Home, Reagan Webb shot a 91, Mary Beth Rogero finished with a 101, Faith Hilvert had a 104, and Lexi Rauls ended up with a 108. Landrey King led the Lady Tigers with a 90.
