
Two Peel residents were injured in a two-car collision Friday in Ozark County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 3:20 p.m. Friday when a vehicle driven by 87-year-old Imagene L. Hughes of Theodosia turned into the path of a vehicle driven by 65-year-old Cathy A. Mataitis, five miles west of Theodosia on Missouri Highway 160.
Mataitis and a passenger in her vehicle, 60-year-old Richard W. Mataitis, suffered minor injuries in the crash and were transported via ambulance to Cox Hospital in Branson for treatment.
Hughes was not injured in the accident.
