High school football makes up much of the local Friday schedule as Mountain Home joins most teams around Arkansas beginning conference play. The Bombers’ 6A-West opener will be in front of the home crowd as they meet Lake Hamilton.
Mountain Home is currently 1-2 on the season. The Bombers picked up their first win of the season last week at Batesville. Lake Hamilton is currently tied for seventh overall and ranked first in Class 6A by the Arkansas Sports Media. The Wolves are 3-0 after shutting out Hot Springs, and Mountain Home head coach Steve Ary says they have a deadly combination of size and speed.
