The Twin Lakes Tennis Club Championship was recently held over a three-day period. The tournament was presented by Nosari Home Mortgage.
Mark Stewart and Jess Vandermark won the men’s 55+ 4.0 doubles division after beating Michael Fisher and Jerry Mooney in the title match. Fisher was able to beat Mickey Robertson for the men’s 55+ 4.0 singles title. Kord Stuffelbeam and Kyle Garretson won the men’s open doubles final over Chris Nosari and Daniel Zapata. Nosari beat Zapata for the men’s open singles championship.
Jill Czanstkowski and Leah Coleman
On the women’s side, Leah Coleman took the 2.5 singles title over Sarah Edwards. Coleman also joined Jill Czanstkowski in beating Eva Christina Artigue and Lea Keller for the 3.0 doubles championship.
Heather Maxey and Jana Gaston
Jana Gaston and Heather Maxey won the 2.5 doubles final over Alisa Blasdel and Hayley Plumlee. Nancy Decker and Toni Fisher won the 55+ 3.5 doubles championship after topping Debbie Charbonneau and Phylis Venable.

This was the first tournament for the Twin Lakes series. At least three more adult tournaments are expected for 2022.
