A man accused of a vehicle theft in Sharp County is in custody. The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office says the unidentified suspect was captured in Illinois.
The vehicle at the Hardy Civic Center was reportedly stolen after another truck taken from the Doniphan, Mo., area was abandoned with disabling damage. It was believed the suspect was attempting to head to Springfield, and Mountain Home was thought to be one of the areas he was traveling through.
