Tuesday basketball schedule includes MHHS at Harrison

High school basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule, as Mountain Home plays its last road games of 2021. The Bombers and Lady Bombers will head west to meet Harrison.

Mountain Home’s girls are 1-7 on the season. The Lady Bombers are coming off a loss to Nettleton Saturday in the Cabot Christmas Classic.

The Mountain Home boys have a record of 1-6. The Bombers’ last game was in Cabot on Friday, when they fell to Nettleton.

The junior varsity boys’ game has been cancelled. The varsity girls will begin at 6 followed by the varsity boys.  Both games will be on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com and the Bomber Sports Network channel on YouTube.

Two area schools will play their openers in the Battle of the Border Tournament at Mammoth Spring. On the girls’ side, Viola and Alton, Missouri, get underway at 4, and the host Lady Bears face Koshkonong at 7. On the boys’ bracket, Viola takes on Highland at 5:30, and Mammoth Spring plays Mountain View-Liberty at 8:30.

Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Alpena, Flippin entertains Yellville-Summit, Calico Rock is home against Shirley, Bakersfield’s boys host Gainesville, Ozark Mountain entertains Deer on the Bruno-Pyatt campus in Eros, Salem travels to Tuckerman, the Lutie boys are home against Couch, Izard County hosts Rural Special, Dora’s boys entertain Winona, the Dora girls make the trip to Mountain View-Liberty, Melbourne is home against White County Central, Marshall heads to North Little Rock to meet LISA Academy North, Mountain View travels to Searcy to face Riverview, Lead Hill hosts Kingston, Bergman entertains Elkins, Valley Springs is home against West Fork, and Omaha makes the trip to Jasper.
