Winners have been announced from two area holiday lighting contests sponsored by the Bull Shoals and Salem chambers of commerce.In Bull Shoals, the winners were the Fox family in the residential competition and Beaman Realty in the commercial category.
Each winner received a basket filled with goodies donated from local businesses. The overall winner received a bonus gift door hanger.

In Salem, the Smith home at 536 West Church Street received first place and $500 sponsored by the City of Salem.
Second place and receiving $300 sponsored by FNBC and United Country Moody Realty is the Lafferty home at 259 Circle Drive.
Third place and receiving $100 sponsored by Castleberry Shop is the Foster home at 134 North Main Street.
The People’s Choice award receiving $250 sponsored by the Salem Chamber of Commerce is the Birmingham residence at 234 Appaloosa.
Groovy Little Flower Shop was the winner for the business category.
There were 19 entries in the competition.
