
The Twin Lakes Area has set a new weather record on Christmas afternoon. At KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot, the official reporting station for the National Weather Service in Mountain Home, Saturday’s high reached 73 degrees. The previous high for this day was 72 set back in 1971.
This is the second time this month a weather record has been set in Mountain Home. On Dec. 18, the 24-hour rainfall measured at 7 a.m. was 3.56 inches. The previous record was 2.1 inches in 1995.
