Basketball makes up the local Monday schedule, as three of Mountain Home’s junior high teams return to the home floor to welcome in Douglas MacArthur from Jonesboro. The eighth grade boys’ game tips off at 4:30 followed by both freshman contests.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Yellville-Summit travels to Mammoth Spring, Bergman hosts Kingston, and Valley Springs entertains Jasper.
In high school basketball, Salem’s girls will be in Swifton for their opener in the George Kell Classic. The Lady Greyhounds meet East Poinsett County at 7.
