A few area schools are closed Monday for various reasons.
The Cotter School District has closed the campus due to COVID-19. Monday will be AMI Day No. 2, and students will work remotely through Google Classroom.
The Flippin School District campus will be closed due to road conditions and staff shortages. Monday will be the first AMI day, and students who have power will log into Google Classroom or Canvas for assignments. Those without power and WiFi can make up their work on Tuesday.
The Valley Springs and Omaha school districts will both be closed on Monday due to road conditions. For Valley Springs, Monday will be AMI Day No. 3.
In Missouri, Gainesville and Thornfield school districts will be closed Monday. Thornfield will have AMI Day No. 3.
