Basketball makes up much of the local Monday schedule, and four of Mountain Home’s junior high teams will be on the road to meet Batesville. The seventh grade boys’ game tips off at 4:30 in the back gym. In the main gym, the eighth grade girls’ contest starts at 4:30 followed by both freshman games. Masks are required for entry.
Elsewhere on the junior high level, Bergman travels to West Fork. The games between Norfork and Viola are canceled.
In high school action, Bakersfield will play its opener in the Cabool Basketball Girls Classic. The Lady Lions take on Couch at 7.
Elsewhere, Gainesville’s girls travel to Mountain Grove, Mammoth Spring hosts Marmaduke for three girls’ games, and Melbourne entertains Tuckerman for three boys’ contests.
