Multiple school closures have been announced this week for various reasons.
The Cotter, Viola, Dora and Mammoth Spring school districts are closed for on-site instruction for the remainder of the week due to the coronavirus pandemic. All four districts will have AMI days through Friday.
The Lead Hill, Omaha and Jasper school districts will close campuses Wednesday due to the threat of winter weather. AMI days will be held for all three districts.
The Thornfield R-I School District will be dismissing classes early on Wednesday afternoon. Students will be dismissed at 1.
