MH bowling, swim teams get wins Thursday

Mountain Home was able to get victories from its bowling and swim teams on Thursday.

The Bomber bowling teams swept Concord at Driftwood Lanes.
Mountain Home won the boys’ match 11-2 over the Pirates. Gavin Niemoth rolled a 195, and Hunter Bahr added a 174.
The Lady Bombers took the girls’ match 9-4 over Concord. Rachel Chamberlin finished with a 173, and Zoe Carpenter ended up with a 150.

Both of Mountain Home’s swim teams took the meet at Pocahontas on Thursday.
On the girls’ side, the Lady Bombers beat out Greene County Tech. Maddie Lynch broke her own school record in winning the 50-yard freestyle, and she also took the 400-yard freestyle. Joia Traver recorded a pair of state times while winning the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard backstroke.
Mountain Home got past North Little Rock for the win on the boys’ side.
