The Mountain Home Junior High basketball teams both moved on to the semifinals of the 5A East District Tournament with victories in Paragould Wednesday night.
The Junior Bombers squeaked by Jonesboro Annie Camp 42-41, as they improve to 14-9 on the year. Rhett Gilbert led the way with 17 points.
The Junior Lady Bombers cruised past Jonesboro MacArthur 45-23 to improve to 17-4 on the season. Mountain Home took control early, jumping out to a 24-6 halftime lead. Sarah Williams led Mountain Home with 11 points, and Laykin Moore added 10.
