
A search is underway for a child along the banks of Bull Shoals Lake. Search efforts are expected to resume Saturday morning in Taney County after being suspended Friday night due to darkness.
According to KYTV/KSPR, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the search is focused on Slough Hollow Road, south of Kissee Mills. The search started around 1:30 Friday afternoon after the boy was reported missing. Investigators have not released information about the boy’s age or a description.
Marine troopers began surface searching an area roughly half mile downstream from the bridge on U.S. Highway 160. Water conditions were murky with a varying current and receding water.
Agents with the Missouri Conservation Department, local law enforcement officers and neighbors are assisting in the search.
