Angela DeGroote has announced she will be seeking reelection to the Baxter County Quorum Court as justice of the peace District 2. DeGroote is a Republican seeking her second term. She served on the personnel committee during her first term.
DeGroote is a longtime resident of Baxter County and works at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She and her husband, Jim, have raised their four children in Mountain Home and have owned and operated DeGroote Plastering since 1995. They are members of Saint Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
DeGroote says, “I love Baxter County and have felt blessed to call it home most of my life. It has been a privilege to serve on the court this past year and I am very proud of what we have accomplished especially for the county employees. I hope to have the opportunity to continue to represent the people of District 2.”
