While the snow has stopped falling in portions of the Twin Lakes Area, the chance for a wintry mix continues through the evening hours Friday. A winter weather advisory remains in effect for North Central Arkansas through midnight and for Southern Missouri until 6.
Meteorologist Eric Greene of the National Weather Service office in North Little Rock says the local snowfall amounts have varied in different parts of the area.

The snow has created wet roads in the area in most cases, and Greene says for the most part, it should stay that way.
