Arvest Bank will host a free Shred-a-Thon for the Mountain Home community Saturday from 10 to noon at the Arvest Bank branch located at 2619 Highway 62 East, next to Walmart.The complimentary shredding event will provide a convenient opportunity for residents to drop off personal and confidential documents to be destroyed on-site by Shred-It to help protect against the risk of identity theft.
The shredding services are free of charge, however, donations will be accepted to benefit the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas as part of Arvest’s annual Million Meals initiative.
In order to minimize contact and serve as many people as possible, residents are asked to place up to five boxes of documents in the trunk, remain in vehicles and follow traffic directions through the location.
