A boil water order has been issued for part of the Fulton County Water Association south of Salem. The Arkansas Department of Health issued the boil order for the following roads: Fairview Road North of Bakerberry Lane, Young Road, Valley Wood Lane, Green Meadow Lane, Douglas Valley Lane, Eagle Springs Trail, Ridgeview Trail and Baker Berry Lane.
The boil order was issued Tuesday afternoon following a construction related water line break and will remain in effect until further notice.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
