NAEC leader says rolling blackouts not expected this summer, higher costs though on the way

Several national media reports recently, including an article this past weekend in the Wall Street Journal, are quoting power suppliers who say electricity supplies are not keeping up with demand and rolling blackouts could affects parts of the country during the summer’s heat.

North Arkansas Electric Cooperative CEO Mel Coleman discussed that along with expected higher electricity prices in the near future when he joined Brad Haworth during the news at 7 Thursday morning.
