The Mountain Home High School baseball team watched its season come to an end Friday in the Class 5A State Tournament at Hot Springs. The Bombers suffered an 8-0 loss to Sheridan in the quarterfinals.
The game was scoreless until the Yellowjackets exploded for a six-run third inning. Sheridan added two more runs in the sixth before closing out the game in the seventh.
Mountain Home’s final record is 17-12-1.
