The Mountain Home School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting Thursday evening with the presentation of awards to faculty and staff.
Superintendent Dr. Jake Long will present awards for 30-years of service recognition, the Richard Padget Extra Mile award and the Teacher of the Year award.
This year’s recipient of the Teacher of the Year award has been presented to Dora Norcross, an art teacher at Hackler Intermediate School.

This year’s recipient of the Richard Padget Extra Mile award has been presented to Hope Sammons, kitchen manager at Nelson-Wilks-Herron Elementary School.

Other items slated for discussion include the district wireless upgrade, the high school track resurfacing, a request to approve textbook adoption and policy updates.
The meeting begins at 6:30 at the Central Office on Rodeo Drive.
