While coronavirus remains an issue of concern, medical experts encourage adults to be mindful of other illnesses and conditions, including the potential for colorectal cancer. The American Cancer Society has announced it has moved the recommended age for individuals to start getting colonoscopies to 45.
Dr. William Dyer of the Baxter Regional Gastroenterology Clinic says the earlier age recommendation comes as cases of colon cancer in younger adults appear to be on the rise.
