The busy week of American Legion baseball came to an end Sunday at Cooper Park in Mountain Home. Paragould ended up winning the championship of the Mickey Huskey Twin Lakes Classic. The Lockeroom finished in third place in the tournament.
Mountain Home’s senior team lost the second semifinal to Russellville by a final of 10-7. Paragould doubled up the Tropics from Scott City, Missouri, 2-1 in the first game on Sunday. Paragould later topped Russellville 4-2 in the title game.
