In mid July 2020, a Mountain Home man sold 2.7 grams of methamphetamine to a person working with law enforcement.
Twenty-six-year-old Adam Smith recently pled guilty to a charge of selling the drug and was put on probation for 60 months.
According to the probable cause affidavit, officers were notified that a confidential informant had made arrangement with Smith to purchase an amount of methamphetamine for $250.
At the time of the sale, Smith was living in a room at the Econolodge. After arriving at the motel, the informant knocked and was let into the room by Smith. Once the “buy funds” that had been furnished to the informant changed hands, Smith was reported to have provided the methamphetamine in a small plastic bag.
