
Four more boil orders were issued in the area Wednesday, including for the city of Briarcliff. The entire Briarcliff Waterworks system is under a boil order following a water main break.
In Stone County, a portion of the Mountain View Waterworks is under a boil order. The area includes customers from the intersection of South Peabody and Lincoln Street, south to the end of the line.
Some customers of the South Mountain Water Association near Leslie in Searcy County are now under a boil order. The area, which is the southwest corner of the service area, includes South Mountain Road after the pavement ends and all roads off South Mountain Road.
A boil order has been issued for a portion of the Deer Water Association in Newton County. The affected area includes all customers on Arkansas Highway 7 South.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
