Baxley hired as new MH Parks and Recreation director

Friday was National Parks and Recreation Day, and the city of Mountain Home was able to celebrate by welcoming is new parks and recreation director. The city announced the hiring of David Baxley.

Baxley comes to the Twin Lakes Area after working for the city of Benton. He was a grounds superintendent beginning in 2012, and in 2018, he was promoted to assistant parks director.

Baxley spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot’s Heather Loftis Friday at the Mountain Home Municipal Building.

Baxley succeeds Billy D. Austin, who recently retired and became a candidate for position of Mountain Home city clerk in the November general election.



The Baxleys are welcomed by the Mountain Home Parks and Recreation staff.
