
Another boil water order has been issued in Baxter County. The order was put in effect Friday for portions of the Brunner Hill Water Association.
The boil order includes Brunner Hill customers in the Koso Point area and the area from the old water office at Dolph to the end of the line toward Fulton County.
Another boil order remains in effect for the entire Briarcliff Waterworks system due to a main break. The Stone Mountain Water Association in Searcy County continues with its order for the area to include the southwest corner of the system, including South Mountain Road after the pavement ends, and all roads off South Mountain Road due to a pump malfunction. A boil order is also in effect in Newton County for all Deer Water Association customers on Arkansas Highway 7 South due to a main break.
Another boil order was lifted for Starlight Estates in Baxter County on Friday. Others were lifted on Thursday for the Ash Flat Water Company in Fulton County, the SDM Water Association in Searcy County and Mountain View Waterworks in Stone County.
All affected customers of current boil orders are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
