Two area baseball teams look to stay alive at legion state tourney Friday

Day two of the bracket portion of the Arkansas American Legion AAA State tournament Friday finds both Mountain Home Lockeroom and North Central Arkansas facing elimination. After both teams went 2-1 in pool play to advance to bracket play, both squads lost their opener Thursday in the double elimination bracket.

North Central Arkansas will again have the first game of the day as they take on El Dorado at noon. The Lockeroom will play at 2:30 against Fort Smith.
