Nearly a month after being paroled from prison, a Salesville man is back in custody on accusations of drug trafficking and breaking into multiple vehicles in Baxter County. Twenty-five-year-old Nathaniel Kramer was booked Thursday into the Baxter County Detention Center on 16 felony counts.

According to Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery, county investigators assisted Arkansas State Probation and Parole officers around 9 Thursday morning with a visit to Kramer’s residence on Water Tower Road. Authorities reportedly discovered approximately 75 grams of methamphetamine laced with fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. They also located items reported stolen from several vehicle break-ins from Norfork, Salesville, Briarcliff and Buford.

Kramer is charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, seven counts of breaking or entering, three counts of theft of property, first-degree criminal mischief and theft by receiving. The trafficking charge is a Class Y felony, the most serious classification of crime in Arkansas not punishable by death.

Kramer had been released from prison in June after being paroled from several convictions in Pulaski County. He has been arrested for several breaking or entering and theft of property charges in three central Arkansas counties.

Kramer is being held on a bond of $50,000 pending his appearance in Baxter County Circuit Court.
