Cardinals begin home series with Cubs Tuesday night

After a day off Monday, the St. Louis Cardinals will begin a three-game series at home against the Chicago Cubs Tuesday night.

The Redbirds are 54-48 and three games behind Milwaukee in the National League Central Division. The Cubs are 41-60 and 15 1/2 games behind the Brewers.

Adam Wainwright (7-8) starts for St. Louis while the Cubs send Keegan Thompson (8-4) to the mound.

Game time is 6:45 with the Ameren Total Access pregame show at 5:50 on KTLO-AM.
