The Twin Lakes Golf Course will be hosting a benefit for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this weekend. The ninth-annual James Henderson Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday with a rain date set for Aug. 13.
The day begins at 7 with registration and breakfast, and the shotgun start is an hour later. The cost for the two-person scramble is $40 per golfer or $80 per team. If necessary, carts can be rented for an additional $10 per golfer or $20 per team. In addition, golfers can purchase a maximum of two mulligans at $5 each. Checks should be made payable to Mary Jane Henderson. The deadline to enter is Thursday.
The tournament will include men’s, ladies’ and mixed flights. There will be cash payouts for each flight. Lunch will be catered by Holy Smokes BBQ and Catering at the pavilion at the conclusion of play.
Hole sponsorship is also being accepted for the tournament at $50. That will include a sign with the name or logo on a tee box. To sponsor a hole, contact Mary Jane Henderson at 870-391-5975.
