The Flippin High School golf teams opened their season Thursday with a pair of second place finishes at The Creeks Golf Course at Cave Springs.
On the girls’ side, Flippin was second, five strokes behind Valley Springs. Maddie Lindsey paced the Lady Bobcats with a 92 to finish second individually. Peyton Wolf had a 98. Valley Springs’ Landry King was medalist with an 85.
On the boys’ side, Flippin was second, one stroke behind Valley Springs. For the Bobcats, Hudson Lindsey shot a 90 to tie for third. Cody Downs was close behind with a 91. The medalist was Valley Springs’ Levi Carey with an 86.
