MHCA, Cotter and Flippin get high school volleyball wins Tuesday

The Mountain Home Christian Academy, Cotter and Flippin high school volleyball teams all picked up wins Tuesday night.

MHCA defeated Ozark Christian at West Plains 3-1, winning by scores of 25-20, 25-17, 21-25 and 25-18.

The Lady Eagles were led by Kenna Riley with 15 kills and five digs, Carolyn Rogers had five kills, Maddy Simmons finished with 23 assists and Joanna Oliger served four aces.

In the junior high match, Mountain Home Christian Academy won by scores of 25-23 and 25-16. Sydelle Sebree served six aces.

Cotter picked up wins at Guy-Perkins.

The Lady Warriors dominated the high school match 3-0, winning by scores of 25-8, 25-10 and 25-2.

Cotter won the junior high match 2-1.

Flippin swept their matches against Riverview. The Lady Bobcats won the high school match 3-0, winning by scores of 25-13, 25-9 and 25-21.

Flippin was led by Ally Hodges with six kills and three blocks, Ella Alexander and Juletia Roberts each had five kills, Jayden Spoon had 12 digs and Payton Wolf finished with 13 assists.

The Lady Bobcats improve to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

In the junior high match, Flippin defeated Riverview 3-0 to improve to 2-2 on the year.

Flippin won the J.V. match 2-0. Alyssa King had five kills.
