Donald W. Reynolds Library kicks off Diamond Days this weekend

The Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County will kick off Diamond Days this weekend to celebrate the arrival of the Diamond Exhibit from the Museum of Discovery.

The exhibit will feature rock and mineral samples, multimedia experiences, computer interactives and large full-image graphic panels.

Opening day activities on Saturday include rock painting, a photo booth, diamond prints and a diamond dig. At 10:30 that morning Assistant State Geologist, Angela Cranston, will present on local geology.

At 1, an indoor concert featuring Still on the Hill will take place to celebrate the Buffalo National River’s 50th anniversary.
