
Rapp’s Barren Brewing Company will host a German inspired festival Saturday afternoon from 2-7 on the Mountain Home Square. The ARktoberfest Celebration is a family friendly event where proceeds will benefit the First United Methodist Church backpack for kids program.
Russell Tucker joined KTLO-FM’s Heather Loftis and Brad Haworth in the studio to talk about how this event was a couple years in the making.

Activities during the event include a kids zone with games, a pretzel eating contest, beer barrel racing, a yodeling contest, accordion polka band and an official beer mile run.

Festival wristbands are $40, the beer mile run only is $25, the stein holding contest is $20 and an all inclusive bundle package is $75, for those ages 21 and up. Game wristbands for unlimited game play and access to the kids zone 12 and older will be available for a donation and ages 11 and under receive a free game wristband.
