Ozark Mountain School District Superintendent Jeff Lewis says this week’s meeting to discuss the possible merger of the districts high schools went well, and several good questions were asked community members.Lewis, who spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News Friday morning, said these are initial conversations and a formal decision has not been made. More community meetings will held on the district’s other campuses at a later date. Additionally, he stressed that this was not a total merger and the proposal would only effect grades 7-12. The district is looking to find long term solutions and opportunities for its students.
