Missouri meets Wake Forest in Gasparilla Bowl

Missouri’s football team will be making its second consecutive postseason appearance on Friday. The Tigers will be in Tampa, Florida, to meet Wake Forest in the Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl.

Mizzou finished the regular season with a record of 6-6 and in a three-way tie for fourth place in the SEC’s Eastern Division. The Tigers became bowl eligible after their last game of the year when they eeked out a two-point win over Arkansas on Black Friday.

Wake Forest will go into the postseason with a mark of 7-5. The Demon Deacons ended up in sixth place in the ACC’s Atlantic Division.

Kickoff at Raymond James Stadium is scheduled for 5:30. Friday’s game can be seen on ESPN.
