Basketball makes up much of the local Tuesday schedule and includes all six of Mountain Home’s junior high teams welcoming Batesville to the Twin Lakes Area. All of the games will be on the high school campus. The eighth grade boys’ game tips off at 4:30 in the main gym followed by both freshman contests. The seventh grade girls will start at the same time in the auxiliary gym, and the seventh grade boys and eighth grade girls will follow.
On the high school level, Flippin hosts Elkins, Yellville-Summit entertains Calico Rock, Viola is home against Clinton for two girls’ games, Gainesville’s boys travel to Thayer, Ozark Mountain makes the trip to Timbo, Salem hosts Newport, the Dora girls entertain Koshkonong, Melbourne heads to Cave City, Mountain View is home against Hoxie, Rural Special travels to Heber Springs, Lead Hill’s boys host Mount Judea, Bergman makes the trip to Green Forest, Valley Springs entertains Mayflower, Omaha heads to Deer, and Jasper travels to Kingston.
