
Mountain Home hosted Batesville for several junior high basketball games on Tuesday.
The freshman boys’ game ended with the Junior Bombers topping the Junior Pioneers 37-25. Rhett Gilbert paced Mountain Home with 13 points, and Drew Haney added 12. The Junior Bombers improve to 7-8 on the season.
Mountain Home was also able to win the freshman girls’ contest. The Junior Lady Bombers got past Batesville 48-41.
Mountain Home started the action in the main gym by winning the eighth grade boys’ game over Batesville 41-29. The Eighth Grade Bombers were led by Tucker Thompson with 12 points. Mountain Home’s record is now 8-3.
Mountain Home split the seventh grade games with Batesville in the auxiliary gym. The Seventh Grade Lady Bombers shut out the Seventh Grade Lady Pioneers 31-0. Mountain Home lost the boys’ contest to Batesville 40-22.
