
The Mountain Home High School girls’ wrestling team ended up third in the Lady Lions Invitational Friday at Searcy. The Lady Bombers finished behind Searcy Black and Sylvan Hills Blue.
Amelia Frounfelter led Mountain Home by winning the 155-pound division. Her three victories improves her record on the season to 23-0.
Emalyn Stephens was the runner-up in the 120. Third place finishes for the Lady Bombers include Kylie Alford in the 115, Jocelyn Bryant in the 125, Brianna Balsano in the 130, Olivia McCoy in the 135, Leigha Gatewood in the 145 and Lillian Wood in the heavyweight division. Nevaeh Bragg was fourth in the 155.
Mountain Home will join their male counterparts on Tuesday by hosting Searcy and Maumelle on the junior high campus.
