Authorities are searching for an area teen reported missing. Fourteen-year-old Amber Townsend of Ava was last seen Saturday at her residence.
According to a Facebook post from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Townsend is described as a 5’8″ white female weighing 120 pounds with black hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt, black leggings and black boots.
Anyone with information on Townsend’s whereabouts should dial 911 or contact the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 417-683-1020 or 417-250-2320.
