Ozark Mountain’s Middleton ties state record for game rebounds

An area student-athlete has tied the state record for rebounds in a high school girls’ basketball game. Ozark Mountain’s Chloe Middleton was able to grab 30 boards on Jan. 3 when the Lady Bears when to Timbo and beat the Lady Tigers 67-45.

It’s been nine years since the record of 30 rebounds had been set. According to the Arkansas Activities Association, Middleton ties the mark set by Donnesia Clark of KIPP Delta in 2014.

Middleton also scored 39 points in the victory.
