The winter precipitation in the Twin Lakes Area has knocked out power to several area residents.
As of 6:55 Wednesday morning, North Arkansas Electric Cooperative was reporting outages to 25,178 of its members. Baxter County has the majority of the outages at 11,852. There were also outages to 656 members in Marion County, 5,659 in Fulton County, 4,451 in Izard county and all 191 members in Stone County.
KTLO’s Heather Loftis had a chance to speak with NAEC CEO Mel Coleman about the outages and how they are handling the restoration.
Several area customers of Entergy Arkansas are also without power. The count at 6:55 included 1,336 in Baxter County, 7,405 in Marion County, 1,781 in Izard County, 1,849 in Searcy County, 1,804 in Stone County, 6,405 in Boone County and 175 in Newton County.

Additional outages have been reported to a portion of the members of White River Valley Electric Cooperative. The tally includes the lone member in Baxter County, 804 in Ozark County, 13 in Boone County, 994 in Taney and 1,467 in Douglas County.
