
A Midway woman is charged with multiple felonies, including a Class Y charge for trafficking a controlled substance.
According the to probable cause affidavit, special agents with the Arkansas State Police (ASP) met with the 14th Judicial Task Force and a confidential informant for the purpose to make a controlled purchase of fentanyl from a known person.
The informant was equipped with electronic monitoring equipment and was given $300 to make the purchase. They met with the suspect, 29-year-old Trystina Meadows and purchased 2.2 grams of fentanyl. In addition, the transaction occurred within 1,000 feet of a certain facility.
Meadows was charged with one felony count of trafficking a controlled substance and one felony count of distribution of a controlled substance near certain facilities. She is faces additional charges of possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
Meadows is currently being held in the Baxter County Detention Center on $22,500 bond.
