A big fundariser is coming up next weekend for a local sports program. The 22nd-annual Slappin’ Leather Texas Hold ’em Tournament is scheduled for Feb. 11 at the ELKS Lodge #1714 to benefit Mountain Home American Legion baseball.
The event begins with registration at 11, and the tournament starts two hours later. The entry fee is $100 for a single player or $600 for a pre-registered table of eight. Re-buys will cost $50
Visa gift cards will go to the top six finishers, and the winner’s card will be worth $2,000. The seventh and eighth place finishers will take home gas cards.
